Latchi is considered as the 1st port of entrance to sailors from Greece and Turkey. Originally was a fisherman's harbour but in the last few years, the harbour has grown and became a point of interest for tourism having facilities and amenities.
In the summer, the harbour is crowded and full. Contact the harbour master for the berth in advance.
There is a pontoon just outside the mole. If you didn't reach the harbourmaster before arrival, you can temporarily moor at the pontoon and walk to the office to ask for a berth.
Note that the harbourmaster's office is at the entrance and the port police office found at the end of the marina. The harbour/marina offers local restaurants and pubs, mini supermarkets and some shops, including divers shops.
The nearby town — Polis is just 2 km far away. There you can find bank services, restaurants and supermarkets. Harbour services are fuel via diesel truck, water, and electricity but no showers nor public toilets.
In this area, you can find: water skiing, kayaking, and windsurfing.
Restaurant recommendations: The Old Town Restaurant, Art Café, and Moustakallis Tavern.
